Overcoming negative emotions

Attitude of Gratitude!
There was a girl who lived near me. She was with me in the same class. One day she was late to  school , because her cycle got punctured in the middle of the road, somehow she managed to reach school. After reaching school ,principal scorned her for being late in front of everyone. She was so upset by that incident, that she stopped talking with everyone for few days, After few days she was back to normal, and surprisingly after that incident she was never late to school. But she had developed hatred for her principal, she still had those feelings stored in her mind.
Same happens with everyone of us ,right?
We all have negative-experiences,thoughts ,problems ,worries in our life; Like, people have criticised us, have scorned at us, yelled at us, have ignored us, etc etc. We remember all this in some corner of our mind, we remember the emotions we were going through , how upset we were in the moment etc.
We all tend to remember these negative emotions very fast, and whenever we get upset we remember these incidents and overlook at it, and at the end of the day we feel unworthy. This happens with almost everyone of us. Why?
This happens because our brain is hardwired to focus on negative experiences or thoughts.
So it needs someone who will thrive to focus it's attention from negative to positive experiences/thoughts.
And ,this work is done by --Gratitude!
What do we actually mean by Gratitude?- Gratitude means saying Thank You to all the things which you are grateful for; and there is always something to be grateful for, No matter how defeating life is. We sometimes fail to look at the efforts of our loved one, there may be many justifying reasons for it. But we should acknowledge these people by saying them a simple word-Thank you , for their little efforts to make you smile, to make your life good, right!

This is going to have 2 benefits

•The person you say Thank- You is going to feel good

•You will also feel good, for acknowledging people in your life, and you will feel Positive which is going to boost your mood (due to secretion of dopamine)

*Ways to express Gratitude and it's benefits

•There are 2 ways to express Gratitude, you can say it in-person or im-person, (I use both the ways, i maintain a Gratitude journal as well as say it in-person too)
•Also not necessary that things should be be animate ; there are many inanimate things that we should be grateful for ,-like House-our comfort zone, Plants-our energybox, Food and Water, etc etc .
Second way , you can maintain a Gratitude - journal in which you can say thank you to all the factors contributing good to your life, making your life better . You can fill this either in the morning or in the night. This will change your life in a positive way!
Benefits:
° Our brain will focus on just positive things and will actually refrain from thinking negative thoughts, and you'll be more focused and happy in your life.
° You'll be more empathetic and kind
° It improves your psychological health
° Increases mental strength
° You have a better sleep

And many other benefits!!

Isn't is amazing !

Change will not be easy, until you actually start it!
So make sure to make a good one.
Hope this helps you to make your life better.

Road to forgiveness

Hello!  How are you? I hope you're fine and in good health. Today I'm back with another blog Road to Forgiveness. So before we move on I'd love to tell you an incident which happened with me, 2 days before. Now as the conditions are starting to become normal, colleges have started to freely function and so did mine.  So every morning I travel by bus to my college and I love that journey. Since my childhood I've been that wanderlust person, who enjoys the journey be it by bus, or any other transport, especially in the mornings. There are lesser people out there and sun is just leaving it's home. It's just so beautiful! So I was clicking the pictures from the window (offcourse I'm a window seat person :) ) as the bus stopped at a place. A lady climbed in at that stop, and then as she was planning to sit near me there was a speed breaker so the lady trembled and she accidentally dropped my bag which was kept on that seat, in an attempt to handover it to me...

Pause!

Hello!! So if you are here, now pause on until next 10 minutes, this will definitely change your life!! Once a bird was searching for a home to lay her eggs and get shelter in this heavy rainy season. In her search she saw 2 trees and ask first one for shelter. But the first tree refused to give her shelter. The bird got very disappointed, now she went to the second tree and hopefully it agreed. She made her home and layed her eggs. Now the rainy season had arrived, bird was very happy and grateful that she got shelter. At the same time she saw that the first tree had felt down because of heavy rains and it got carried away by flood. The bird saw this and she taunted it " See this is your karma, now God has given you this punishment. " To which the tree smiled and said, " I knew I'm not going to survive this rainy season that's why I refused you. I didn't want to risk your and your children's lives. Which just stunned the bird and she became silent. S...

Phubbing

Hey hi! How are you? I hope you're fine. Good to see you back. Last week I had a get together with my friends. We had a good chitchat in the first 30 minutes had good food but it only ended up like this shown in the above picture. Well that was not the first time I had seen this scene, or you're seeing it. We all go through such scenes everyday. All thanks to Covid 19& smartphones!  And this very phenomena is called as phubbing. Making it more simple, phubbing involves using a smartphone while with people and interacting with the smartphone rather than the person or people present. Now you might wonder & say क्या ही फरक पडता हे! Because Phubbing may seem like a relatively harmless or simply annoying, part of modern life, many of us have even got used to it. But research is finding that it may have a significant impact on your mental health. How? Lets see! When someone phubs you, you may feel rejected, excluded, and not important because we all are part of this amazin...
