Self care- A way of nourishing self

Hello everyone,
Today I am up with new blog, on an vital element called self care
So,.. whats Self care? Why is it important to have self care practices? You all might be binging with these questions , Right?

I've written my blog on this concept and have taken enough care that you get enough answers to your questions.

Whats Self care:
The idea behind self-care directs us towards taking care of ourselves in every manner be it physically, mentally or emotionally. Though, these days ‘social’ and ‘spiritual’ self-care has also become a big part of this notion. 
Any form of a conscious act by a person to promote their overall well-being is part of self-care.

There are many taboos of people regarding self care.
People feel that foundation of self care comes from a selfish environment and emotions. People associated this term with not caring or caring less about others and being more self absorbed. But what is ‘self-care’ really? In plain words, self-care can be understood as taking good care of one’s own self. This ‘taking care’ doesn’t just incorporate the basics such as eating well and sleeping well; it’s much more than that.
 In short it's nourishing self!

But why self care?
Okay assume that someone special has given you a gift . How will you preserve it? Obviously you are going to take care of it mindfully , if it's a thing you'll clean  it everyday. You'll use it, but going to use it mindfully, Right?

Same way even your body is a gift given by God. Then why do we not take care of it same way! 
Its not selfish to practice self care, it's caring ourselves , as we care for others!.

Benefits of self care:

Self-care improves our lives in different areas and in different ways, all of which are important to our overall health, i.e Mental and physical.

Raised Self esteem:Practising self-care can have remarkable effects on our self-esteem. When we take care of ourselves, it affirms our self-worth. By taking care of ourselves and our needs, we’re telling ourselves, ‘I deserve this’. And we do.

Enhanced Self Awareness :With regular self-care, our self-awareness is greatly enhanced. Our go-to activities will usually be something that we already enjoy, but it also gives us the opportunity to branch out and try new things. This enables us to figure out what we do and don’t like and, if we discover new interests, it can potentially lead to new passions and goals.


Encourages Self -ImprovementSelf-care encourages self-improvement. It promotes rest and relaxation, which benefits our overall health and wellness, and it also promotes healthy relationships. When our self-esteem and self-awareness improves, it has a positive effect on our overall mindset.  This, in turn, enables us to care for our friends and loved ones in a way that we might not have been able to do before.

Self care practices:

◆Have an exercise routine: many people would say why workouts in self care?
Because workouts give a chance to connect with ourselves and ultimately have a fitter body and a good stamina.
Atlast body is the only place we reside in, so its vital to take care of it

◆Have a detox every week: This will improve your functioning.

◆Have a Digital and social media detox: Social media can be overstimulating and Addictive. Have a break from it atleast once a week.

◆Have Me-time: 
Having a Me- Time is crucial for every human being out there.
In this me - time focus on what's going on inside your mind , try penning it down.
•Acknowledge your emotions . You can also read a good book , as it increases your knowledge and provides you time with yourself and relaxes you!

◆Go for a Gratitude walk in the nature- Acknowledge the nature around you, it gives you positive feelings and rejuvenates your day.

◆Meditate for a while - Meditation helps you become calmer and prevents the excitations of emotions.

◆Dance it out! - Dancing or moving your body helps release endorphins. Making you feel more happier!.

◆Do something new everyday: Try nourishing your old hobbies or try learning a new one.

◆Be still-
Find a quite place inside or outside and embrace the stillness.

Remember  to love yourself and care for yourself everyday because you cannot pour out from an empty cup!

Self care is not a luxury ; it's a necessity!

Hello!  How are you? I hope you're fine and in good health. Today I'm back with another blog Road to Forgiveness. So before we move on I'd love to tell you an incident which happened with me, 2 days before. Now as the conditions are starting to become normal, colleges have started to freely function and so did mine.  So every morning I travel by bus to my college and I love that journey. Hello!! So if you are here, now pause on until next 10 minutes, this will definitely change your life!! Once a bird was searching for a home to lay her eggs and get shelter in this heavy rainy season. In her search she saw 2 trees and ask first one for shelter.But the first tree refused to give her shelter. The bird got very disappointed, now she went to the second tree and hopefully it agreed. She made her home and layed her eggs. Now the rainy season had arrived, bird was very happy and grateful that she got shelter. At the same time she saw that the first tree had felt down because of heavy rains and it got carried away by flood. The bird saw this and she taunted it " See this is your karma,now God has given you this punishment. " To which the tree smiled and said, " I knew I'm not going to survive this rainy season that's why I refused you. I didn't want to risk your and your children's lives. Phubbing

Hey hi! How are you? I hope you're fine. Good to see you back. Last week I had a get together with my friends. We had a good chitchat in the first 30 minutes had good food but it only ended up like this shown in the above picture. Well that was not the first time I had seen this scene, or you're seeing it.
